Just Long Enough

€0.00

After wandering for hours in the deep forest I noticed birds chirp and sing with each other. As I moved towards the beautiful sounds, I saw absolute chaos, with sticks moving everywhere. The birds were collecting the loose pieces of bark on the trees and sticks to make their nests.

It was both, pure chaos as fascinating walking in the middle of it. 35 birds flying all around me, and the impossible goal was to try and photograph just one.

After missing one shot after the other, one particular bird, landed on a thick stick, almost asking me for to take a photo of him so he could hang it inside his nest as decoration.

He stayed on that stick for Just long enough, while all the other birds were flying around me like crazy maniacs.

I pressed the shutter. I couldn’t have afforded to lose one more second because, as I looked at the photo on my LCD, the bird already left.

I was very pleased I got it nice and sharp.
